The title of my talk will be: Predictive encoding of social behavior in the anterior cingulate cortex.
Short bio: Steven Kushner obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. at UCLA through the National Institute of Health – Medical Scientist Training Program, with his thesis performed in the laboratory of Alcino Silva. After completing postgraduate residency training in Psychiatry at Columbia University, he moved to Erasmus MC where he is now Professor of Neurobiological Psychiatry and President of the Netherlands Society for Neuroscience. His research focuses on the genetics and biological mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, though a combination of clinical, translational, and fundamental neuroscience approaches.
